
Tasha Arlen
Executive Director
Tasha Arlen previously served as director of Sales and Marketing for Solstice at Columbia before assuming her current role as executive director. She has nearly 20 years of experience working in health care, sales and skilled nursing.
Tasha’s favorite part of her job is bringing joy to residents and creating wonderful work experiences for her team.
When she isn’t working, Tasha enjoys spending time with her two sons, camping and kayaking.

Justin Giacalone
Director of Sales and Marketing
Justin Giacalone has worked in the senior living industry since 2010. His career started in Florida, where he was a licensed assisted living administrator and worked in sales and marketing for several senior living communities throughout the state, before moving to Missouri. Justin also brings experience in direct patent care, geriatric care management and nursing, which he utilizes to educate residents and families.
With a passion for helping everyone live as comfortably, independently and safely as possible, Justin thrives on exceeding expectations and providing individualized options to enhance the lifestyle of all the residents he works with. Justin is also a United States Army veteran who was part of the 3rd Ranger Battalion. In his free time, he enjoys photography, graphic design and spending time on his property with his dog, Flash.

Brooksie Mayville
Business Office Director
Brooksie Mayville brings over 10 years of experience in long-term senior care. Before joining the Solstice at Columbia team, she served eight years as Business Office manager at South Hampton Place. Brooksie loves brightening her residents’ days by sharing a smile and making them laugh.
In her free time, Brooksie enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Frank Butler
Culinary Service Director
Frank Butler joined our community over a year ago as a cook before quickly being promoted to lead cook and then again in May to Culinary Services director. Frank received his degree in Culinary Arts from the University of Utah in 1995 and brings over two decades of culinary experience to the Solstice at Columbia team.
Frank loves to make as much food from scratch as possible. The residents’ favorites are his homemade vanilla ice cream and pecan pie! He also has his own Signature Chef Frank’s BBQ sauce. In his free time, you will find him cooking, fishing and cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs.

Christin Weeks
Senior Vibrant Life Director
Christin Weeks has been part of the Solstice at Columbia family for over a year now. She takes pride in bringing the residents of Solstice many different activities, parties, trips and fun events throughout the year. She has also built close relationships with many of the residents within our community.
She has over a decade of leadership experience, and before joining Solstice as the Vibrant Life® director, she served as the activity director at Mark Twain Assisted Living and Moberly Nursing and Rehab, and as an activity aide at the University of Missouri. She originally started her career as a certified nursing assistant before realizing her passion for leading activities and resident programs led her to senior living.
In her free time, Christin enjoys antiquing, crafting, going to the movies, playing with her French Bulldog puppy Zane and traveling.

Benton Fogleman
Building Services Director
Benton Fogleman is originally from North Carolina. He served eight years of active duty in the United States Air Force before leaving in 2018 and joining the Air National Guard at Whiteman Air Force Base, for a total of 12 years of service.
Benton enjoys assisting the residents at Solstice at Columbia in any way possible and helping make the community a better place to live. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his friends and family, along with being on the lake.
